A standard colonoscope looks forward, and wall areas hidden behind haustral folds stay out of view. We are developing a videocolonoscope with five cameras in the distal section and building an inspection map — a record of which areas have been examined and which have not.

Five cameras running at once

The first five-camera distal test rig in Russia was assembled. First frames captured.

Five channels: one forward-facing and four lateral, each with its own receiver board. Within a day the first code reading all five streams was working.

Prototype and test preparation

We are raising funding to build a full videocolonoscope prototype, complete the design documentation package and prepare for technical testing.

We welcome research groups working on endoscopic optics, image processing and inspection-coverage assessment — for joint publications and joint grant applications.

We are open to discussing a joint laboratory or an affiliated university department.
